Old Town, at the corner Reitschulgasse / Habsburgergasse. The Innere Stadt (Old Town) of Vienna is UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
This is the place of the balloon man scene in the cinema movie “The Third Man“, 1949. The ALTE HOFAPOTHEKE (Old Imperial Court Pharmacy) facade is the street front of the Spanish Riding School. The letters on the wall are gone, the pharmacy turned to a candy shop. The store “Halder” on the other corner still exists. Visit here the Third Man Museum in Vienna.
