Riesenradplatz (Giant Ferris Wheel Square) in the Wurstelprater (the Prater amusement park). This is the main gate, seen from the inside. The Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel) is behind the camera.
Until comprehensive reconstruction of the area in 2009, there has been a small cafe at this place. In the James Bond cinema movie The Living Daylights, the manipulated sliding door of that cafe kills Bonds local colleague.
Celine and Jesse (Julie Delpy, Ethan Hawke) have their night stroll around here in the cinema movie Before Sunrise and kiss for the first time in one of the gondolas of the Giant Ferris Wheel.
