Innere Stadt, Helmut-Zilk-Platz with the “War and Fascism Memorial” (Artist Alfred Hrdlicka), seen from the Albertina Terrace. This is a slow tilt up along the “Generali Building”. The Innere Stadt (old town) of Vienna is UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
On Helmut-Zilk-Platz stood the noble “Philipphof” building until March of 1945, it collapsed under a WW2 bombing.
