Roncesvalles. On a cold and misty morning, the first pilgrims start into their day. This is a panorama from the left to the right – from the monasteries gate, over the frontyard lawn, passing the Santiago Chapel, down to the restaurant “La Posada”. The Camino de Santiago is UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.
Martin Sheen and film crew were here as they produced the camino movie “The Way“.

El Camino de Santiago es Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
